June 11th, 2009 It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog. I’ve been buried, researching and writing my new book, “Freedom’s Gate: The U.S. Capitol Revealed” (with co-author Dr. Mark Gray) and traveling. In the past three months I’ve been in Los Angeles, Dallas (twice), Denver, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. (twice). Everywhere I go I’m talking with audiences about transformation, metamorphosis and, simply, the quest all of us are on to become better people. Of course, I’ve also been relating this quest to and emphasizing the core concepts of stargate metaphysics, i.e. how we can dramatically shift from limited three-dimensional thinking to hyper-dimensional or multi-dimensional living by recognizing the connectedness of everything and by imagining gateways in space-time. You don’t have to jump through stargates or wormholes to become enlightened, find peace or fulfillment, but the circular image of the stargate does symbolize this quest both in ancient and modern times. On my recent travels I’ve found some awe-inspiring food for thought and stargate art I’d thought I share here, beginning with this remarkable connection between neurons and the universe.
“One is only micrometers wide. The other is billions of light-years across. One shows neurons in a mouse brain. The other is a simulated image of the universe. Together they suggest the surprisingly similar patterns found in vastly different phenomena,” wrote David Constantine in a New York Times piece about the work of researcher Mark Miller and his comparison between the two images above. Miller, a doctoral student at Brandeis University, researched how particular types of neurons in the brain are connected to one another. By staining thin slices of a mouse's brain, he identified the connections visually. The image shows three neuron cells on the left (two red and one yellow) and their connections. An international group of astrophysicists used a computer simulation to recreate how the universe grew and evolved. The simulation image below is a snapshot of the present universe that features a large cluster of galaxies (bright yellow) surrounded by thousands of stars, galaxies and dark matter (web). As can be seen, the microscopic and macroscopic images are nearly identical. The Doctrine of Correspondences (“On Earth as it is in Heaven,” As Above. So Below. As Within. So Without.) is a primary principle of stargate metaphysics that has been known for millennia. Today’s science is demonstrating this beautifully. At the Peace Project Foundation (www.peaceprojectfoundation.org/) event in Dallas I presented with Dr. Michael Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center. Michael’s an incredibly dynamic speaker – a cross between Chris Rock and Martin Luther King. He makes you laugh out loud. I highly recommend attending one of his live events. I was delighted by the synchronicity between our presentations. In particular, we shared similar views on Jesus’ “Law of Love” (LOL). A scribe questioned Jesus, asking what is the greatest commandment. Jesus replied, “Love with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matt 22:37-40) Both Rev. Beckwith and I choose to omit “the Lord Your God” from this statement and simply say, “Love with all your heart…” My reason for this is the words “the Lord” and “Your God” are way too confusing these days. Rev. Beckwith’s fix for this is honest and humorous. In place of the words “the Lord Your God” he inserts the word “Something.” That Something, he says, often manifests as a voice inside us. You know, “Something” told me to turn left instead of right. “Something” told me I should do such and such. We all know what that Something is, but we don’t have to name it, claim ownership of it, and divide or even kill one another over it. I liked that approach. I call our quest to fulfill these two commandments “the Law of Love Project.” We’re all working on this Project whether we realize it or not. Further, I connect the LoL Project with Revelation 20:12, which is the Christian End Time or Judgment Day scenario when each person is judged according to what they have done. Many are surprised to learn that Revelation 20:12 is Judgment Day, but it is. Look it up for yourself. Judgment Day is when we are measured against the Word of God. For some, this conjures the image of an inquisition and feelings of unworthiness and incompleteness. In stargate metaphysics, the Word of God is Love. To be measured against the Word of God is to be measured against the Love of God. In this ‘interview’ the focal question is “how loving are you?” (In preparation for this conversation, it is wise to remember, as the Wizard of Oz reminded the Tin Man, “It’s not about how much you love, it’s about how much others love you.”)
It should be noted that the Judeo-Christian concept of Judgment Day comes from Egypt. However, there is a profound difference between these cultures. In Egypt, Judgment Day referred to the Weighing of the Heart, a religious mystery ceremony conducted in the Hall of Truth and Righteousness in which the heart is weighed against the feather of “truth,” “justice,” and “purity”. The ancient Egyptian Judgment Day isn’t a one-day event, but rather an ongoing or perpetual one. If the pans do not balance, the unperfected soul will be reborn (reincarnated) in a continuous cycle until the heart is “perfect” or “pure”. If the heart weighs less than the feather, that is, if the person is ‘light hearted’, then the secrets of the universe are revealed and the soul progresses into a higher form of rebirth. The pure soul takes its place among the gods becoming a star of gold, joining the company of Ra, and sailing with him across the universe in the ark of the millions of years. As my readers or viewers know (www.williamhenry.net/about.html), I equate the ark of the millions of years with the modern concept of the wormhole. My message is the only way we will open the stargates and wormholes is through an opening of the heart. We don’t have to wait for 2012. Now is the time for us to weigh our own hearts. It’s time to launch Law of Love Projects. It’s time to express immense gratitude for making it this far and to become more giving. 2012 AND PERFECTION Christians believe that in the End Times/Judgment Day the entire human body of believers in Christ will be changed to Light to match the body of Christ in his exalted state in his Kingdom (2 Cor. 3: 18, Rom. X ii 2). This will happen in the twinkling of an eye (or a shift in consciousness?). Of course, to some, the idea of the human body transforming or metamorphosing into light is impossible, no matter how loving a being we are. Yet, we live in a time when the impossible is becoming possible daily. Jesus said that what he did (rise from the dead, transform matter) can be done by anyone. It is happening today and has tremendous implications for our planet. I discussed this in my presentations Morph and Revelation 2012: The Eye of the Needle. The subtitle of the latter comes from an episode in the New Testament when a rich man had asked Jesus what was required for eternal life. Jesus replied, “Follow the commandments” (i.e. commence a personal Law of Love Project). To which the man stated he had already done so (I doubt it. He wouldn’t be asking the question if had). Jesus responded, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me" (Matthew 22: 37-40). The rich man became irritated and was unwilling to do this. Jesus then spoke this response, ...I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel (a large object) to go through the eye of a needle(a small object) than for a rich man (who focuses solely on the material world) to enter the kingdom of God (the realm of Pure Light and Love), leaving his disciples astonished (comments mine). Many interpreters propose Jesus is talking about the Needle gate at the temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. I have proposed that Jesus was speaking in cosmic terms. He’s talking about opening the mouth (eye) of a wormhole (needle), which can only be accomplished by a being of pure love. The inspiration for this interpretation came from a Midrash on the Song of Songs, “The Holy One Said, open for me a door as big as a needle's eye and I will open for you a door through which may enter tents and [camels?].
I have two comments about this. First, When Jesus used the word perfect it meant whole, holy, complete and compassionate. In stargate metaphysics, a circle or a ring symbolizes holiness and completion and the fulfillment of the Law of Love Project (the attainment of a state of being capable of going through the eye of the needle, the stargate). It also symbolizes compassion, since it is realized that we’re all in this together.
Further, I interpret Jesus’ use of the word perfect through the lens of the Tibetan Great Perfection path to enlightenment. On this path the individual focuses on attaining perfection by discovering that our ultimate nature is pure, primordial awareness. Finding this pure quality leads to enlightenment. The vow to perfect oneself in order to perfect others is called the thought of enlightenment, or bodhichitta, says Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. This implies that every single action, word or thought, even the most insignificant, is dedicated to the good of all beings (The Law of Love Project). Advanced practitioners achieve what is called the Rainbow Body or the Body of Light in which they spin their bodies into a vortex of energy and vanish. They are shown on or in a rainbow, which is how Jesus is portrayed in Christian Last Judgment art. The reason is Jesus has achieved Perfection.

The reason why we should follow these commandments, I suggest, is not out of fear of judgment by a priest, pastor or even God, but because it is the only way we will pass through the eye of the needle and survive and/or thrive Stargate-Revelation 2012. Additionally, these commandments are the “path to perfection” or the Way Home. STARGATE DALLAS After the Dallas Peace event, I asked my host, Nancy Harte, if we could take a ride around downtown Dallas. I like to explore the art and architecture of the cities I visit. On this day “Stargate Dallas” had something incredible to show me. After a short visit to Dealey Plaza, we headed downtown to an area called “the Value” that is shaped like a Pythagorean triangle. Greeting us was a corkscrew-shaped building anyone could readily recognize as a simulacrum of the Tower of Babel, the ladder or gate to Heaven described in Genesis 11: 1-9. The sign said we were at Thanksgiving Square. It turns out this tower was a chapel. In its ceiling is a spiral-shaped stained glass window. The sacred spiral is an ancient symbol for growth and evolution. Further, it represents divine energy and the path home.

More was to come as we began exploring Thanksgiving Square, a setting designed to inspire gratitude. In the Meditation Garden area we noticed the inscriptions carved into red granite and cemented into the wall. Here they are:
As if this were not enough, when we continued our exploration we found the Great Bells of Thanksgiving (shaped liked the Liberty Bell) and the Ring of Thanks and Circle of Giving, located in the Court of All Nations. The Ring of Thanks is made of aluminum and covered with 23-carat gold. A phenomenal acoustic effect is experienced when one stands in this ‘ring’.

Standing there, I felt as if I had been given the Golden Ring Itself. Little did I know, but this was only the beginning of what I would find as my journey continued during the Spring and early Summer of 2009. STARGATE DETROIT One of my next tour stops was my hometown, Stargate Detroit. Here, my friend, Chad Stuemke, gave me a tour of the remarkable stargate art at Motown’s Hart Plaza, the city’s primary gathering place. Located on the Detroit River at the foot of Woodward Ave. it’s in the shadow of GM’s headquarters. Over the years Chad has read my books, attended my presentations and decided to apply stargate metaphysics and take a look around his backyard. What he found is awe-inspiring. Much of it can be found on his site, www.chadstuemke.com. The first exhibit one sees upon arrival at Hart Plaza is “Transcending”, a five-story tall sculpture dedicated to Michigan’s Labor movement. Its incomplete ring symbolizes “unfinished business.”

Having spent the last 8 months working on “Freedom’s Gate” I was personally gratified to see nearby “Transcending” the sculpture called “The Gateway to Freedom” memorial. This shows a group of slaves looking toward Canada and freedom. Detroit was part of the “underground railroad”.

Hart Plaza was the site where Martin Luther King gave the first version of his “I Have a Dream” speech on June 23, 1963 in front of a crowd of 500,000 people at the Great March on Detroit. He then went to the Lincoln Memorial on August 28 to give the speech to 200,000 people. There is no doubt that this is one of the greatest speeches ever. As I read the transcript of the Detroit speech I marveled at the stargate metaphysics in the concluding words of his speech: “I have a dream this afternoon that the brotherhood of man will become a reality in this day. And with this faith I will go out and carve a tunnel of hope through the mountain of despair. With this faith, I will go out with you and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows. With this faith, we will be able to achieve this new day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing with the Negroes in the spiritual of old: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God almighty, we are free at last!” Stargate Detroit had one final surprise waiting for me. Whenever I’m in my hometown I try to visit my old favorite deli and the sports shop I hung out at as a youth. This visit was made particularly memorable by the new sculpture placed across the street between my visits. Called “The Journey Home”, by David Oppenheimer, it is a rainbow ring. Seeing it, I felt like I was in the movie “Back to the Future” or something! They say you can never go home, and I agree. However, you can enjoy the journey there!

What does all this stargate imagery mean? To me, it suggests a transformation of our consciousness. The Ring or stargate is the symbol reminding us of the potential of our times and of the future. I expect that in the years to come more and more of this imagery will proliferate until stargate symbolism is as common as, say, the cross of Christianity.

On December 2, 2008, the largest project ever in the U.S. Capitol’s long history of expansion was opened to the public. The stunning $621 million marble and stone underground Capitol Visitor’s Center, which ABC News ) bizarrely called a luxe extension of the Capitol, doubled its footprint. Stephen T. Ayers, the Architect of the Capitol hopes it will quickly become the gateway for visitors the Capitol. In his remarks, Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, quipped that members will no longer have to “smell the tourists” on hot summer days. Further, “Today the ‘people's temple’ shines brighter than ever before…” The opening drew heavy criticism in conservative circles for minimizing references to God and to religious faith and for emphasizing the Capitol as a “People’s Temple” (in fact its “sole temple”) and the Constitution as America’s “oracle.” U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R – S.C.) criticized the CVC design in a press release, charging “it fails to appropriately honor our religious heritage that has been critical to America’s success.” Noting that the Architect of the Capitol has pledged to include “some references to faith,” DeMint continued: “More needs to be done. You cannot accurately tell the history of America or its Capitol by ignoring the religious heritage of our Founders and the generations since who relied on their faith for strength and guidance. The millions of visitors that will visit the CVC each year should get a true portrayal of the motivations and inspirations of those who have served in Congress since its establishment.” A local Nashville radio talk show host also took offense at the suggestion that the Capitol is called a temple. A caller asked if the reference to the “People’s Temple” had anything to do with the notorious cult leader, Jim Jones. This total ignorance, sadly, is likely shared by other Americans who have no clue that the gleaming white building in Washington DC is, indeed, a temple. I agree with Senator DeMint. Americans should have a true portrayal of the motivations and inspirations of those who built the Capitol. Well, here it is. Thomas Jefferson called it “The first temple dedicated to the sovereignty of the people.” An anonymous essay of 1795 described the Capitol building as a ‘temple erected to Liberty’. Specifically, the founders of the Capitol Temple likened it to Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem. “I have every hope that the grand work we have done today will be handed down…to a late posterity, as the like work of that ever memorable temple to our order erected by our ancient Grand Master Solomon.” Maryland Grand Master Joseph Clark, September 18, 1793, at the laying of the cornerstone of the Capitol. “It would be unbecoming the representatives of this Nation to assemble for the first time in this solemn Temple without looking up to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe and imploring His blessing.” President Adams, November 22, 1800, opening the Second Session of the Sixth Congress in the new Capitol building. This is more than poetic. The U.S. Capitol has several architectural and other features that unquestionably identify it with ancient temples including stone construction, an underground entrance, chapels, an image of a deified being, religious imagery and inscriptions, divine proportions, massive columns, palpable spiritual energy, acoustic trickery, terrifying guardians, mystic visitors, closed doors, private members, and orientation to the Sun. The designers of the city of Washington, D.C. oriented it to the Sun – especially the sunset on March 21 and September 21. The measurements for this orientation were made from the center of the dome of the U.S. Capitol, rendering it a ‘solar temple’. Author David Ovason imagines it as the center of a compass and as a point of stillness, where the arc of the sunset is “centered.” This still point is the tip of an angel’s needle that weaves the abstract, event transcendent, concepts of Freedom and Liberty into the fabric of America. It is crystal clear from the statements set in the stone of the Capitol that the builders viewed it as America’s sole temple (a solemn, Solomon’s Solar Temple in Jerusalem to be exact). This temple connects the earthly and the transcended realms. The dome of the Capitol ices this connection. Domes have been called the perfect architectural shape: the circle, symbol of the universe, executed in three dimensions. In religious architecture domes proclaim the glory of God. In fact, the word dome comes from Latin domus, a house, via Italian duomo, a house of God, that is a church (from kirk, meaning ‘circle’). The oculus or eye of the dome is considered the Gateway of the Sun. From this gateway at the top of the dome rises the World Axis, the link between heaven and earth. Domes, therefore, are the threshold or gateway of the spiritual world. This definition applies to the Capitol Dome. In my presentation, The American Rite, I introduce you to a secret vision of the Capitol as a holy place. The mighty Capitol Hill is a great High Hill, in the tradition of all holy hills. The temple atop this mount is revealed as a Temple of Transformation that uses sacred architectural principles to create a magnificent space/place where heaven and earth unite. By definition it is a stargate. Once its symbolism is revealed I think you’ll agree that this meaning is obvious.
October 10th, 2008 I got a late night call the other night from Walter Cruttenden, founder of the Binary Research Institute and host of the Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge October 4-6, 2008. One of his speakers had cancelled and he asked if I could catch a plane and fill-in. “I’m there!” I told him. The event, held on the campus of the University of California at San Diego was a phenomenal success. Around 300 people packed into the Mandeville Auditorium to hear Dr. Robert Schoch, Dr. Jocelyn Godwin, Laird Scranton and John Anthony West, among others. My old friend and publisher, David Hatcher Childress, was another featured speaker. Here’s a few photos from the event.

The CPAK conference is one of the most prestigious events in the ancient knowledge field. I was thrilled to be part of it, and I look forward to future events.
October 10th, 2008 I ran into my friend, Ernest, the other day. I hadn't seen him for a while. “Hey,” I said, “let's grab a cup of coffee.” He said he couldn't. He was on his way to the Obama campaign office here in Nashville to make some calls. "You mean Barackhenaton?" I said. The words lit up his face in a moment of instant recognition. "What did you say?" Asked Ernest. "Barackhenaton." I repeated. “Have you noticed the Barack Obama looks a lot like Akhenaton? The folks at Fox News are always saying he's Moses or the Messiah or something, why not Akhenaton, Egypt's greatest mystic king?" "Send me some photos," said Ernest. Ernest plied his Photoshop skills and came up with something kinda funny, but also kinda cool.
Fast forward a week or so. Obama and John McCain rolled into Nashville for their debate at Belmont University. I live about 100 yards from Curb Auditorium where the debate was held. By Tuesday afternoon (debate day) my neighborhood had been invaded by thousands of political-types. I spent most of the day /out among the sea of people who gathered around the university for the debate. What a circus! Come debate time I high-tailed it home, grabbed one of my Les Pauls and sat down to dive for tones during the debate. When John McCain pointed to Obama and said “That One” during the debate – sending a karate chop at his opponent who had voted for an energy bill - I had to put my guitar down. I picked up my cat Boo and said, “Tell me he didn’t just call Barackhenaton ‘That One’ (or ‘Th-At-one’ or ‘Th-Atone’), because ‘The Aton’ or ‘The Atone’ is the name of the God worshipped by Ackhenaton.” McCain supporters deny he meant anything in particular by the stinging remark. Obama supporters claim a racist tone in the dehumanizing term. Apparently, to McCain, Obama is not a person, he’s a thing. I think McCain was psychically picking up on the whole Barackhenaton vibe. “That One”, “Th-At-One” or “Th-Atone”. Andrew Sullivan from The Atlantic came up with a clever new slogan for Obama. It works for Barackhenaton, too.

September 30th, 2008 In 2004, I began reporting that the particle accelerator at CERN is a stargate. It fulfills Mayan 2012 and Messianic prophecy. This is based on my mythological profiling of the symbolism at CERN and the observations of scientists. Now, we have direct confirmation of this from a physicist at CERN.

The unexpected corroboration came on September 28, when 60 Minutes aired a tour inside the troubled particle accelerator/Big Bang Machine near Geneva, Switzerland. If you missed it you can view it here on CBS News: Featured in the piece was physicist Bob Stanek. Asked why scientists are interested in recreating what the universe was like a nanosecond after the Big Bang, Stanek tells Kroft, "It's in humans' interest to know everything, right? And why wouldn't you want to know that?" Here’s the pertinent exchange between Kroft and Stanek: KROFT: "Well, you'd want to know it but, you know, spending eight billion dollars to find out, it must be important.” STANEK: "So, let me ask you this question: because we've studied the interactions of photons and electrons and elementary particles, we can understand how to take the light that bounces off of me and you into that camera and take that signal and put it into mom and pop's living room. Now, imagine, in 10 years, 20 years, will we be able to take, instead of our photons, me and you and put them in mom and pop's living room? So, you tell me, is that worth it?” KROFT: (Incredulous)"Transport people?" (emphasis mine.) STANEK: "You tell me. Is that worth it? Is that worth eight billion dollars?" Asked if he thinks that could happen, Stanek replies, "I don't know enough right now. But I can't say it can’t happen.” We get the message, Mr. Stanek. You wish you could say more. But, you’ve already said enough by telling us exactly what CERN actually is: a stargate device. Thank you finally telling us the real story. September 4th, 2008 In these times of great change and opportunity one wonders if there are invisible, even ascended beings, watching over us and, perhaps, guiding us into the enlightened age so many traditions promise for our time. Certainly, this is one of the core concepts in all the world’s mythologies. Many of these traditions reveal that these beings are actually humans, known as adepts or initiates, who have scaled the ladder to heaven. These advanced men and women of various ages achieved the luminous garment of the liberated soul body, they transformed or “morphed” into light beings. Is there a secret order of humans who have gone beyond human? Do they have superhuman powers? What are they? How did they acquire them? Where do we find their secrets? These questions are fueling my present research. On my Sacred Scotland and England tour, August 14-24, we met up with UK historical researcher Barry Dunford (www.sacredconnections.co.uk) in Scotland. Barry’s book, The Holy Land of Scotland: Jesus in Scotland & The Gospel of the Grail is packed with the astonishing facts about the Grail connection in Scotland and the British Isles. Soft spoken and scholarly, he eruditely guided us to several incredible sites in the Scottish Highlands that hold keys to the secrets of these beings. THE HOLY LAND OF SCOTLAND

Barry’s historical documentation reveals Scotland is the real "holy land", specifically the isolated area around a mystical mountain called Schiehallion, which is located in the center of Scotland. It’s part of a trio of mystical mountains, which includes Mount Sinai, Mount Moriah and a mysterious Mount Heredom (‘Mount of God’). The latter is not to be found on any map. It is claimed to be 60 miles from Edinburgh. That’s exactly where Schiehallion is located. Heredom is also rendered Hierodom, the Holy House or House of the Holy, an allusion to Solomon’s Temple. When the Templars fled France, their treasure in tow, they may have come to this place. One thing is certain, Templar legend runs thick in this land. So too does Christian legend. As Barry observes, in the Book of Isaiah from the Old Testament there is a curious reference to a mythical mountain in the north where the gods assembled: “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the FAR north: "the mount of assembly in the far north" (Isa.14:13 Revised Standard Version). Dunford believes this ‘place of ascension’ is the mystical Schiehallion.

The first time I saw this mountain I didn’t know what it was, but I knew it was something special. Later, I pointed out a photo of it in a restaurant to Barry. “That’s Schiehallion. That’s where we’re going tomorrow,” he said. A walk up Schiehallion, even a partial one, is an adventure for the soul. As soon as we got out of our bus two rams greeted us. Though friendly, they made it clear they were guardians of this domain. It’s true. As any highlander will proudly tell you, in this part of Scotland there are more sheep than people!
Once past the sheep the trail opens and one sees that the spectacular mountain is completely blanketed in purple heather, making it the perfect setting for the union of the human and divine. I felt like we were entering the poppy fields of the Wizard of Oz (minus the intoxicating effect). The energy and spirit of the place simply transfixed everyone.

Instead of a yellow brook road, when one looks underfoot at Schiehallion they see they are walking on a path of quartz crystal. That’s because Schiehallion is a pure crystal mountain. That’s right. It’s a mountain of glass!
Crystal and heather. An incredible combination
The name Schiehallion is an anglicized form of the Gaelic name Sìdh Chailleann, which means "the fairy hill of the Caldeonians”. Celdonia is the original name of Scotland. (Some believe ‘Scotland’ comes from Scotia, the daughter of an Egyptian pharaoh. Although others believe this is a highly spurious legend.) Scottish historians say the early (perhaps even the first) Christian church was established here by a group of monks known as Culdees, from the gaelic Culdich, which has been translated as "certain strangers". They were also known by the Latin name Coli Dei (Servants or Friends of God). They were the last remains of the Pythagorean Druid monks, probably Essenes, who had converted to Christianity. The Coli Dei are also included in the spiritual line of descent from the builders of Solomon’s Temple and the community of Jerusalem. This title also applied to Joseph of Arimathea and his companions, when the British Christian church was founded in Glastonbury in AD 36. The Culdees claimed their teaching derived directly from the disciples of John the Beloved, who would have come either directly, or indirectly, from the Middle East and who drew heavily from the Egyptian Mystery Schools. Now, the Egyptian Mystery Schools were stargate mystery schools. That is, they were focused on the transformation of the initiate into a star capable of spending eternity riding the wormhole-shaped Barques of the Millions of Years in the Field of the Blessed. I mentioned to Barry that I was highly intrigued by the name Cul Dee since it is so close to Scala Dei, the name of my publishing company, which is Latin for “Ladder to God.” Of course, we agreed, these servants of god (the Cul Dee) would likely have known something about the (S)Cala Dei, the Ladder to God.

In Gaelic languages the people of the mounds are called sidh (pronounced shee) people, who are thought to be a powerful supernatural race. They are said to be the offspring of the ancestors or gods. Extraordinary powers are attributed to these ethereal beings such as levitation, the power to make themselves invisible, and more. They were known as the People of Peace or the Fair Folk. They lived on in popular imagination as “fairies”`. Stories are told and believed by the credulous, that Schiehallion is a gateway to the Otherworld. The inside of the mountain is full of chambers or separate apartments. Stories say that as soon as a person advances a few yards, he comes to a door, which, the moment he enters, closes, as it opened, of its own accord, and prevents his returning. This reminds one of Mount Shasta or Mount Adams in America and especially of Shambhalla, the portal of the gods in Asia. Barry led us to a special rock marking an energy vortex. I had a fantastic psychic impression when I put my hands on the rock. Clear as crystal I saw a winged Egyptian god. Was it one of the ascended ones? I can’t say for sure, but it certainly gave me something to think about.
THE BOOK OF LOVE IN SCOTLAND? During my presentation in London I talked about the Cathar Book of Love. This secret gospel of Jesus was said to contain the true mystic Christian teaching. Jesus was said to have transmitted this book silently and directly to John the Beloved. How can a book be transmitted silently? According to lore, the Book of Love had no words. It was written in symbols from a very ancient tradition. The primary symbols were: the palm and the crown, the vine and the Tree of Life, the Dove, the Living water and the Fish, and the Light Ship of Isis (or the Barque of the Millions of Years). This book became the basis for the “hidden” or “Esoteric” Christian Church of Amor or Love. (the reverse of Roma). The existence of this lost (or hidden) gospel was revealed when the Catholic Church subjected the Cathars and Templars (in 1308) to torture. The secrets of this esoteric Christianity have been sought and destroyed by the Exoteric Church of Rome for centuries. However, it is thought that, one day, the two streams of Christianity would reunite in what may be termed the Religion of the Light. In my talk I traced the Book of Love to Cathars of the Languedoc region of Southern France. After their extermination by the Church of Rome during the first European genocide the Book of Love went sub rosa. However, soon the primary symbols of the Book of Love began appearing in Holy Grail stories from Britain. Is it possible the Book of Love found its way the Britain or to Scotland? In answer to this question Barry brought two key facts to my attention. First, he notes there was a tradition that during the reign of the Roman Emporer Domitian (81-96 A.D) some of the disciples of the apostle John visited Caledonia/Scotland. This is when the Essenes and the Druids came together in Scotland as the Cul dees. Secondly, the Culdee colleges or seats of learning were styled "Cathair Culdich" (the Chair of the Culdees). As Barry notes, the close similarity between Cathair and Cathar may be significant since both groups, the Culdees and the Cathars, claimed possession of what may be the same secret knowledge. Further, he notes, both groups were deemed to be a threat by the Church of Rome, which systematically suppressed both Christ orientated orders. It sure sounds like there’s a solid connection between the Culdees and the Cathars to me. This connection was solidified for me when Barry took us to Grandtully, 12 miles east of Fortingall to show us a heraldic mural (c. 1636) on the interior ceiling of St. Mary's Chapel. This plain “barnchurch” contains one of the most remarkable painted ceilings I’ve found anywhere. One of the most fascinating panels shows a Magi with a Grail cup and a levitating egg or stone with a book inside. Is this the Book of Love?

Jesus transmutes a heart with heavenly energy
Jesus is shown with one hand disappearing into the heavenly realms and another pouring an energizing substance into a flaming heart. Is this the alchemical Elixir of Life being poured into the Grail cup? The overall theme of the mural certainly suggests so. Scotland is a land of incredible wonder and Barry Dunford brings it alive in an extraordinary way. His work brings incredible lore and facts to our attention. I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet him, and his wife, Theresa, and hope to make a return visit to this magical land in the summer of 2009.
